Website delivery and security
The hosting and security services that deliver this website may process technical request data such as an IP address, browser and device information, requested page, time and error information. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in operating a safe and reliable artist website.
Technical logs are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, fault investigation and the hosting provider’s operational requirements.
Optional audience analytics
Google Analytics 4 does not load unless you select “Accept analytics”. If accepted, it may measure pages viewed, approximate location, referring source, browser or device category, session activity and interactions with the site. Red Guru Music uses this information to understand which releases and pages are useful and to improve the site. The lawful basis is your consent.
Google acts as an analytics service provider and may process data outside the United Kingdom under its own contractual and transfer safeguards. Google Analytics user and event data is kept according to the retention setting applied to the Analytics property; its standard configurable periods are two or fourteen months.

Embedded music, video and external links
Some pages contain players supplied by Spotify or YouTube. When a player loads or you use it, that provider may receive your IP address, device or browser information and may use cookies or similar storage under its own privacy terms. YouTube players use its privacy-enhanced domain where available. You can use the direct Spotify or YouTube links instead if you prefer.
Links to Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Instagram, TikTok, HyperFollow and other music services take you to independent websites. Their privacy notices apply once you visit them. Red Guru Music does not receive your account passwords or payment details from those services.

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law can give you rights to access, correct or delete personal information; restrict or object to its use; receive portable data; and withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
